Prelude and postlude music is generally incorporated into our wedding ceremony package. Please note the beginning and ending times on your contract.


The women in our quartet wear all black or black and white and the men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit. If you have a preference of semi-formal versus formal attire please let us know.


If amplification is requested, an additional fee will be required.


Acoustical string instruments are very sensitive to extreme environmental conditions. In order to provide you with the best quality music and to protect our valuable instruments, we have included some outdoor playing guidelines.
Maximum/minimum temperature: 95/63, no direct sunlight, and/or percipitation of any kind. Due to the fact that Mother Nature is unpredictable, we suggest a canopy or tent for all outdoor events. If you are planning your event outdoors, please note this in the contract.


Armless chairs for musicians, playing space (approx. 10 feet by 10 feet for a quartet), electricity for music stand lights/amplification (if needed), cover for outdoor events.


All engagements are based on a (1) one hour minimum charge. We will begin and conclude our playing within the time noted on the contract.

We cannot guarantee that the musicians will be available to play beyond the contracted time. If there is a possibility that you will require the musicians longer than the contracted time, we suggest that you note this request on the contract. If requested, we will try to accommodate the extension of time of all musicians at a rate of $25.00 per 1/2 hour for each musician, due upon request.


After the first hour, each musician requires a 15 minute break per additional hour. If the contracted time ends with a 1/2 hour interval, then a 10 minute break will be taken. Whenever possible, our breaks will be arranged to coincide with speeches, toasts and travel time from one venue to another. In order to accommodate you with the most continuous music, we suggest these details to be discussed in advance.


If you wish the music to be continuous, it is possible for an additional $25.00 per musician per hour. Please note this request on your contract.


Distance is calculated from Wilmington, Delaware. Functions beyond a 30 mile drive from Wilmington will have additional charges. The cost will be determined prior to the confirmation of the contract.


If the contract is cancelled prior to eight weeks before the contracted date, 20% of your deposit will be refunded. After the eight week deadline there will be no refund.
